Mother monster taught us well, and since spring is on the horizon we’ve decided to lace our dramatic smokey eye with navy blues and deep purple hues!  It’s all about showing your love bruises in a glam way ladies – intensify and let the world know that although love hurts, in the end what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger!

We all remember the very first time we heard the catchy pop anthem that is “Just Dance”… enjoying the melody but still new to the force that was a young and undefined Lady Gaga.

Tagged at first as just another Britney or Christina hybrid, Gaga pushed on to continuously shock and wow audiences – always keeping them captivated by her ever and on-going fashion/beauty evolution.  You would think that after so many years with so many intentional shocks when it comes to wardrobe changes and appearances, we’d finally get used to it.  Far from it.  From dramatic makeup to alien-like horns and hats made entirely out of hair – nothing is ever underdone in Gaga Land!

Rodarte’s spring beauty look this year was very natural and yet metallic. Sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy were inspired by the landscape of Northern California:  lots of neutrals (wood, bark and fallen leaves) in clothing, but still a lot of bronze and shimmer for the makeup… for a California sunkissed glow!

And have you noticed those molten gold lips and lashes? Sublime!  For sophisticated chicks only! Gold, layering textures and draperies; it all brings me to mind a Renaissance painting…
